'97 Stratus Head Unit Install Problem - No Bass
Hi,
I've got a '97 Stratus without the Infinity sound system. It's just AM/FM/cassette with the joystick type fader.
I wanted to upgrade the head unit so I could play MP3 CDs and have aux in. I bought cheap Rampage (Audiovox) head unit, hooked it up, works, but there is no bass.
I thought it was the head unit, but then I went out and bought a nice, expensive Sony head unit. Same problem.
Plugged the old stock stereo back, it has bass and sounds fine.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
