check engine light on
hi</P>
i have dodge spirit 89 auto,4 cyl 2.5 l..</P>
last time i fixed the timing belt,now when i drive the light check engine is on and the oil light is onand on till i turn the ignition off and start again.i check the oil it is max..no need for oil. what is wrong?</P>

Oil Pressure Sending Unit could be going bad, causing the Oil Light... and if the engine 'thinks' it's not getting oil, could throw the Check Engine Light too... I'm not sure on the engine light, so start with the oil light first.
