I am about to swap a 360 engine froma 76 Monaco into my 72 Monaco. Any pointers to make things go as smoothly as possable would be most greatly appreciated.
If your pulling the motor up and out, don't forget to mark the hood with a pencil where the hood and hinges come together to make putting the hood back on in the right place and position a snap(alot of people forget to do this). Don't forget to unbolt everything, disconnect all necessary wiring and make sure it is tied off out of the way, remove the radiator and fan before pulling the motor(radiators aren't very cheap).[sm=smiley2.gif]
Oops, I think we may have already forgot to mark the hood when we took outthe engine out of the 72 last year. We will figure it out just might take some time.
