Default Cleaning Air intake

I was told that I need to clean the air intake on my truck. It is a 96 Dodge 1500. Does anyone know how I go about doing that or where I could find out how to do it.

There are spray cleaner's availabe that do a great job. Make certain that it's not "Carb" cleaner, they can harm your o/2 sensor. All you gotta do is remove the plastic ducting to your intake and spray.

Berryman Chem-Tool makes a fuel injection cleaner that works well. Take off the entire airbox so the throttle body is exposed and spray into it while the motor is running. It will idle funny while you are spraying but it will help remove the carbon in there.
