Default 95 dakota stalling

Hello everyone, I need some help with my 95 dakota (5.2,2wd). When the gas tank reads between 1/2 and 1/4 tank, the truck stalls, skips, jumps, jerks, etc... When I finally limp to the gas station and fill the tank, I runs like new. Any suggestions as to the cause.
Fuel pump, sensors (I change the AIS and throttle body gasket, seemed to help for a while). I read somewhere that a bad gas cap can cause this, sounds a little far fetched to me. Any help will be appreciated.

hmmmm, wierd. Maybe the fuel pump is weak? Restricted fuel filter? Just guesses. Check fuel pressure, when the problem is "active".
