Yes, I have dual cats and they're side-by-side and they have failed several times. I had the set replaced 5 or 6 times. Yes, they will replace them free of charge. I think it may have something to do with the time frame that those cats were produced. Good luck.

some vehicles are covered, some are not-have your local dealer run the VIN and see what emissions coverage you have.

I do believe that the SRT-4's are also covered 8/80K on the converters.

well i took it to the dealership and they replaced the whole cat assembly for free of charge. my van has only 24,000 miles and this should have never happened. they tried to give me crap because i have a 3" flowmaster cat-back system on there. i said it goes from the cat back how the hell is it my fault? the ticket price with the assembly and labor was over $1,000. thats great!!!! let the big guys eat the money.

Thats right, they have to be able to prove that it caused the failure and they can't because it didn't. [sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley32.gif]

Hey there fellas Newbie here to the site, looks good. My cat seems to be going bad also.My question is if anyone kows the intake size and exit size (O.D.) on a '97 dodge Ram 5.9L. Im going to register it as an ORV [sm=smiley4.gif]and wont need to run the cat so I need to find a Y-pipe to weld into place. Any info would be appreciated
