Default 2000 Dodge Diesel 24valve


Hello introducing myself i am ayla, i drive a 2000 dodge diesel 5 spd.stnd. i have huge problem started last winter, when it get -1or lower my truck will not start unless plugged in and inside the garage after -10celsius,???? will start fine if plugged in and in unheated shop but not at all if not plugged in. it just turns over and over, had it towed in and found nothing not even a code,good pressure and preheats working and ??? this time it wouldnt start and the battery was getting low so our shop put the batttery charger on and then after a while it started with the charger on but when disconnected the charger it ran like a put put stall???? hook up charger and ran good but no power really just had new alternator in nov. please help

Welcome to DF. Should find more answers in the forum for your truck, but it sounds like your batteries or at least one of them doesn't have any cold cranking amps (CCA) left. Need new batts possibly.
