I know this is a dodge forum, but someone on here might know, and I really need to find out.

My buddy wrecked his 96 GTI and he bought another one as a parts car. Today we swapped the radiator, bumper, bumper support, and a fender.

He wanted to test the hood latch, because one of them wasn't working, and he didn't attach the release cable, so now the hood is latched...but we dont know how to unlatch it.

Is there an easy way to pop the clip and be done with it?

 

NVM...They got it with a coathinger I guess, I wasn't there...well, I wasn't there when he did it either...I was getting the sawzall at my shop to cut the exhaust off at the manifold...I like loud pipes

We cut the exhaust on the PARTS car btw, hes got a magnaflow on the nice one. We have an idea in our minds of building a race car out of the parts car, we dont know if we will do it though
