There is NO clearance under the hood. At all. None. SO, what can be done to increase power in the 3.2? I have look on most of the links that I found here, but there seem to be very few aftermarket parts for these cars. Does anyone know if parts for another car would fit? And work? Also, my engine has 84,000 on it, but still runs solid. Is it worth it to rebuild these engines?

 

Does K&N (or anyone else) make a CAI system for it?

 

It is possible to turbo the 3.2. There is also the plymouth prowler gears. There is also body kits ect... You can also look into having the TB ported to allow more air.

for body kits you have www.andysautosport.com http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/intrepid.html . The turbo kit would have to be custom. I can get some pics of an example if you'd like. If your looking for a 10 second car good luck but if you want a nice looking cruiser then you found it. As for the gears goto www.prowlerpro.com and click on gears. they will work to lower the gear ratio.

I did have a thought though...given that mitsubishi and dodge are the same company now, and there are a ton of aftermarket stuff for the eclipse....if the eclipse has a 6 cyl, then would aftermarket parts for that 6 cyl fit the 6 cyl in the trep?
