I just purchased a 2006 Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition. It has an automatic tranny with approximately 1500 miles on it. Last night when i got home from work, I put the truck in park and it made a loud clank. So I put it in reverse and same thing. The truck also jumps when I do this. This is my first dodge, i thought i would try it out because it looked good amist all the hype about dodges failing trannies. Do ya'll think this is a tranny problem on such a new truck. This really has gotten my hopes down on this truck. PLEASE HELP!!

 

if it's making a loud CLANK noise i would take it too the dealer right away
