Default Brake light failure (Not a repost!)

Hello all. I just joined this site, so please forgive me if this is posted in the wrong section. I recently purchased a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel and am loving it. Anyway, I'll get right to the point. I found out yesterday that my brake lights were not working. Sadly, I have no idea how long they have been out, either. I have turn signals but no brake lights. All three (left, right and center) are out. So, I checked the fuses. The only ones that I found for the brakes were under the hood. They checked out ok with a continuity test. Are there any fuses that I am missing somewhere? Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Larry

It sounds as though it may be the brake pedal itself located at the brake pedal. If the fuse checks try having someone step on the pedal and see if you have power. If not go back and check the pedal and see if there is power cominh to the switch and going out when the pedal is depressd.
