I have an early 87 Dakota LE. About every year and a half, both headlights and only the headlights quit working. The headlight switch tests OK with a meter but the headlights only work when the switch is changed.

Is this familiar to anyone?

Does anyone ahve a headlight wiring diagram for an early 87 Dakota so I can try & trouble shoot this bug?

Are you testing the switch in circuit or out?
If you replace the switch and it works, then it would seem likely the switch is bad, Unless a connection is giving you a fit.
