I have just recently bought a Dodge B-300 Maxi Sportman. I have one problem however and that is, I cant find out where to refill the gearoil for the transmisson is?
I have looked everywere, i cant find it under the hood or the "motorbox" (dont know the name of it) between the driver and passanger seat.

If any of u have a suggestion spit it out please.
If u also have a picture that shows where it is, that would be extremly helpfull...

 

Auto trans would be underhood basically right by windshield washer reservoir if I remember correctly, very long tube that should be in your face pretty much. If all else fails crawl under van and follow the tube up from where it goes into the trans. Only 1" tube on trans.

If a manaul trans then you have a fill plug on side of trans under the van, pull plug and see if fluid comes out, if not add some till it does.

All else fails..............read the manual!

 

Is it a new van? I know some new cars don't have a dip stick/fill hole.

 

On my 02 Ford Explorer I dont have a dipstick or fill for the tranny fluid. Its Dealer service only.
