Stupid frigin dodges... I knew I shoulda listened to the guys when they said dodge has a problem of the trannies fall out of them. See I think dodge knew all these tings thats why it HAS tq management. Thats why they are hesitant to let the pcms out for the superchargers.

Now, what is the weak link in the tranny?

I have even had the tranny replaced (under warrenty) on my 01 Ram. 5.9L so it's no hemi [sm=smiley13.gif] but I tow 2 and sometime 3 snowmobiles with it. I had the truck a month (I bought it used) and shortly after they had to replace the torque converter and transmission. It think it's always a problem with them.

 

1 word...warantee...chrysler does a great thing with their trucks and basically gives you the 3 year unlimilted powertrain warantee...goo too your salesman, or your servie writer and demand that they fix it imediatly.

You have an 03 man, and your under 36K, so your fine, just go easy on it from now on...lol

 

Yeah, it's been a problem for awhile, well before the Hemi.

 

Actually i just got my truck back. Im not very happy b/c they told me they fixed it but they didn't and when i took it back they told me it was internal, but the dealership i went to didnt have a transmission tech so i had to take it to a different dealership and turns out the clutches in my tranny were roasted. Mopar baby....

 

Yeah, but those chevy trannies are holding up to the superchargers quite well. And I know, that I am gonna have to cover my *** when I get a dealership to install this supercharger, and tell them to put it in writing that they will hold to the warranty. Because I think its pretty much guaranteed that I will blow up the tranny, and thats stupid. Dodge has such a good engine, but ****ty **** poor excuses for trannies.

the tranny in my 04 hemi quad shifts like it took a laxative the night before! there is no fiber in the thing, i would love to have a nice firm shift throught the shifting
