this may seem like a stupid qustion but im framiliar with automatic trannys not manuals

so n e ways wut exactly does it mean to "pop" the clutch ive seen that being said for cars that are for and was just wondering wut exactly does that mean

It means to get the RPMs up and let the clutch out real fast (pop the clutch) so you can smoke the tires. J

 

What he said is mostly correct, to "pop the clutch" you let your foot slide off to the side, and the clutch pedal literally "pops up", hence the name....[sm=smiley20.gif]

Don't feel bad about that, I've owned alot of vehicles in the 20 years that I've been driving and when I bought my truck it was the 1st automatic that I have ever owned.
