i have a 04 dodge quad hemi.. this morn when starting it idled rough and died but when put into drive ran fine to work and even started back up fine later tried to start again and it happend all over again...help me

 

How many miles????
Did it crank over normal or did it seem a little slow???

 

it has 12,000 miles... it cranks over just fine...but it takes about 3 minutes to idle normally.. it seems to want to idle but doesnt not for at least 3 minutes or so...

 

i know its pretty new and evrything but is the cat fine cause my dads truck did suttin similar to that and it was cause a piece of crap from the cat that had fallen apart got stuck up against the pipe and bairly any air could get out or maybe you got a piece of crap somewhere else er suttin

 

dont know the dealer tested it last night and everything came back a ok...i dropped her off tonight and told them i wanted her back by tommorrow night cause shes goin to kentuck friday....she drives fine exept for that first start up after 2 hours or more sittin

 

Sounds like another leaking injector

 

got my truck back yesterday and it seems to be fine now they never found the problem since it only did it about 4 days and the tech was unable to get it on the computer long enough.....they said to bring her back in if it started up again and they would put a machine on it and let me drive it a few days and see if they could catch something...i think it was a little moisture in the lines.....but im just a girl what do i know
