a buddy of mine has an 85 chrysler laser xe turbo, he keeps getting a code 45, and it goes into limp mode. now i have worked on nothing but my GN for about 5 years, and this car is nothing like it. so he is willing to sell me the car, but i wanna know what it will take to fix this problem. it seems to be pretty much stock. any help or direction of where to find these answers would be great... thx

Accoring to allpar.com, "45 Turbo boost limit exceeded (engine was shut down by logic module)"
After doing a brief search online, I came across another article on allpar.com This one. Granted, the article is on a Spirit R/T, but, at the very bottom, it says, "The only problem is if you hit over boost (code 45) which I have twice. The solution is a map by-pass with a pressure switch. If you need one or know of any one who does let me know."
