Default Big Block in Daytona

Hello! I'm new to Dodge Motors and this forum. I have a 1978 Dodge 440 motor with 67,000. I'm looking do drop it in a light Dodge car from the 80's, I was looking towards a Dodge Daytona. Do they have rear wheel drive? I'm not sure if they ever put V-8s in a 80's Daytona because I'm a Mustang guy.

The Daytons of the 80's were FWD. No V-8's in them (stock at least).

Correct, 80s Daytonas were FWD. They also didn't have the most spacious engine bays [:'(]
