Default 318ci

new to the website and got a few questions, i was wondering what the power possibilities are for a 318 small block and how fun it would be in a charger or challenger because that is the motor i have and the car i am dyin to have so any input would be appreciated.

Welcome to DF!

In my opinion, it's a little small for those cars. There's a reason most of them came with 340s, 383s, 440s, and HEMIs They're not light cars. If you absolutely have to go with the motor, then it will work. You won't have a ton of power though. But if you can, wait and find a 440 or a 383...or heck, even a 360 to throw in it instead. They're not hard to find in rebuildable condition and it would make quite a difference.

I hope you have another vehicle to drive as well. No matter what motor you put in it, it's not gonna get very good mileage [:'(]

yeah i realize that it is a smaller motor and the gas mileage is ****, i mean thats great i was just wondering what the possibilities are for this motor before i think about selling it
