i have a 1998 ram sport RC SB 5.9 auto 4x4.... cruise control wont engage.......turn system on and light in dash comes on but when you hit set it wont engage....suggestions?

 

Did it just stop working?

 

cruise control did not work since day 1 when i bought it 6 months ago

 

See if cable came off under the hood where it attaches to the throttle...

 

Check if you have vacuum at the cruise control servo.
start the car, turn cruise on and check for a hot and ground at the cruise control servo.
check the stop lamp switch
Does your speedometer work, is the check engine light on?
Does anyone know of a forum similar to this one but for Chrysler techs only?
