ok I have a 1994 eagle talon tsi awd turbo....shoot me the costs if you can...temp ranges from -40 degrees in winter to 95+ degrees in summer

Iggster - choose an oil below......also, if you want the dual remote, it may be hard to find a place to mount it. The kits needs about 8.5wx4.5dx6h inchs of space. of course you can also add the single bypass which would require half the space, but involves extra work to install it. I'll post pics if you'd like.

ok this is all a lil foriegn to me.... which would you recomend....I don't race the car but i do drive it regurlarly...when it is not stranded on jack stands due to bad brake calipers.... what is your recommedation and would the overall cost be? and your right...there is NO room in the engine compartment

 

Amanda, I'm going to make another thread that details the bypass. So everyone can see it there. As far as your oil is concerned, you can get the 5w-30 and be just fine, and the oil filter SDF-42, the bypass is not neccassary, I would also recommend the Engine flush to clean out your engine first.

For your truck , here's your cost.

ASL 5W-30 $4.55 X 6 QT's $27.30 1 extra qt.
SDF-42 Filter $8.80

Iggster - If you have absolutely no room, I'd recommend at least the HIgh Performance 5w or 10w-30's. If your not seeing extreme freezing temps or high's go with the 10w, both cost the same. This package will allow 25k miles on your oil, assuming our engine is mechanically sound, and not already in bad shape. you'll change the filter at 12.5k and the oil at 25k, for additional piece of mind, you can get oil analysis when ever you like, perhaps around 5-7-or 10k to see how the oil is doing. Oil analysis is 18.95 postage paid for PC's (preferred customers)
