Is the odometer separate from the main computer system or does the computer have the mileage information stored in it and send the info to the odometer? I switched out the cluster on my '01 dodge ram (when I bought it, it had a diesel cluster), but the mileage shows 117K(I bought a used cluster off of ebay)!!! Can a dealership correct this?? Please help.
