Ok all, It seems I have broken my 5-45RFE tranny apparently the clutches burned or something. I'm being quoted at least $2,200.00 USD to replace frictions and steels and a new torque converter. No mind you this a steelership service department all with OEM parts. If I'm going to spend that much coin on it I would prefer to beef up the tranny. Any suggestion regarding parts, shops, mods or anything else. I'm also considering a new modded tranny or a maybe even a T56 conversion. I welcome everyone’s input on this the sooner the better. Thanks.
