What kind of clicking, and what is the severity of the noise? It could be a few things.

1. Injectors, and it means they are just fine. Fuel Injectors naturally click, that is how they are.

2. I know PCV valve click if you pinch the feed hose, so it could mean it's backed up.

3. Valve tapping, adjust clearance

4. Spark plug wires arcing. Dump water on your wires when the car is running and see if you see a little blue arc anywhere.

On a truck, I'd almost bet money on a drive shaft u-joint going bad.

another way to check your wires (by the way, ive got my money on the wires) is to pop the hood just enough to stick your head through while the truck is running at night time. when its dark you can sometimes see the wires either arcing to surroundings or glowing a bluish color.
