Default oil leak in pacifica

Hi all,

I bought my pacifica on 5/2... love it. Perfect car for my photography business and growing family!

At the end of the month it started to leak oil from two spots. I took it in with an appointment on 6/1, they replaced the oil filter (a hole in it) and tightened the oil plug. 3 days later it leaks again. Same spots. Took it in to the orginal dealership I bought it from on 6/15 with an appointment to fix some scratches and fix again the oil leak, they replaced the oil pan gasket. 3 days later it leaks again.

I made an another appointment to go back to our local dealership on 7/6. After I even showed them the paper work from the other dealership, they tried to tell me the gasket needed replacing again. After 4 days just sitting in the shop, they were told to remove the tranmission for a possible rear main seal leak.

Its 7/21 and its still sitting waiting to be worked on. 22 days out of service and 3 attempts to fix it. I have called just about every number in the manual to start the foot work to get the vehicle replaced. I have also placed a formal complaint with chrysler, which the lady who took my care report was horribly rude and said they won't do anything since its covered under warrenty.

I am finding out that chrysler does not do any aribatration with BBB for the lemon law and I am having to file a formal complaint with the DMV and the New Motor Vehicle Board in order to cover my butt. If Chrysler does not fix this problem and it leaks again I will have to hire a lawyer to get my car replaced.

I am speachless. I thought I did my homeowrk before buying this vehicle but it looks like I didn't.

Any one have any experince with this?

Also another concern with the car is that both tires on the left side, have excessive grooves in the rooters and rust all over the wheels. I had my orginal dealership look at it and they said the wear is with in normal limits. None of my other cars look that bad and they all have more than 40,000 miles on it. My pacifica has 3000 miles on it. I have asked that the other dealership that the car is at now to look at it, but I haven't hear any other word about it.

ARGH!

Thanks for your time!
