I've got my grandpa's 88 5th Avenue and the drivers side window just suddenly dropped inside the door. I got a replacement windo lift gear, put it inside the electric motor and it worked beautiffully for a month. Then one morning it suddenly dropped inside the door again, but the motor itself is still turning up and down. It's like it is not making contact with the gears to the scissor lift, but i can't figure out why. Any ideas?
