Default Intake backfire/bucking and surge/audible vac hiss

Help please

I have a 2000 ram 5.2 2 wheel drive automatic 98,000 miles with an intermitant back fire that sounds like it is coming thru the intake/ at that time there is a loss of power and you have to feather the gas in order to keep it going feels like the ignition was cut for a minute or its running out of gas and then catches if I depress the gas and get the rpms up / this only happens after it is warmed up. Also if I am sitting a a long light I will hear a hiss and the idle gets rough but does not shut off.

For one, have the IAC cleaned. I made a DIY step-by-step aid here in the forums called How to clean the IAC. Do a search for it under my ID.
