ok i have a 95 2door and it has the 2.0 sohc and the motor had 177k miles on it and i decided to replace the motor after a headgasket blew again. so got a motor with 86k miles on itand droped it in bolted it all up and went to go start it and it just clicked and didnt turn over. i pulled the plugs out and it wont move. i know its not locked up so what should i do? do you think my starter might have fried? it was recently replaced about 25k miles ago or so. how do i trouble shoot it? thanks guys all the help is appreciated.

 

the only thing I can tell you is check your battery and all you connections the starter wouldnt just click
