They built four versions because the concorde was done away with. The 300 starts out at 23 thousand and change, the 300C starts at 33 grand. Quite a bit of differance. The 300 series is trying to be everything to everyone. And on a side note there is no way the hemi plant would be able to keep up if every 300/magnum had one.

I purchased a 300 touring and in California the base were at 26,000 and the 300C (hemi's) were 46,000.They added a $10,000 premium on the Hemi's.I went with the touring $30,000 because I wasn't going to pay $16,000 more for 90 horse power and a few trinkets.....that's why I drive the touring Dodgemech......I still love the car and as you can see in my Avator it doesn't look to bad........for a Touring..
