Default Engine Cooling fans killing my Battery

My cooling fans are coming on long after I shut the engine off and the engine is cold. They run until my battery is dead. Can anyone help?

Replaced fan relay, now the cooling fans run all the time , even when the the engine is cold and not running. They will run continuously until the battery is dead. The only way to stop them is to pull the fuse.
