Default old Pacifica Horsepower

Hi I'm new hear and I was wondering since yall seem to know alout about dodges if you could help me out. I recently bought an 88 dodge daytona pacifica (2.2L 174hp Turbo II) and my friend bought a 73 mustang coop. I wanna race him but I lack the horsepower I'm gonna get a K&N airfilter and try'n get dual flowmaster exhaust but after that my wallet will be abit dry do any of you know a way to get cheap horsepower for it?

If it was a real TII, you wouldnt have a problem beating a 73 Mustang. Intercool it, and get a cal. with bigger injectors. Then go to a 3" exhaust. If that doesn't do it, the mustang isnt stock,
