Default Sockets and Wrenchs

I have seen several commercials on these new sockets and wrenches(Metrinch and Gatorgrip specifically)and was wondering if anybody owns them and/or they have any opinions on them.

I will only have Mac, Snap-On, or sometimes Craftsman. Even if you buy some used old ones and they break Mac, Snap-On, and Craftsman will honor the lifetime warranty and give you a new tool.

I have used a socket like "GatorGrip" before and I have to say, it did work.

and after reading the Metrinch website they do have a liferime warranty but you have to mail in the part and pay shipping and handling... with Craftsman, you just walk into a Sears store give them the old one and they give you a new one.
