Ok i have posted this befor but i never got a straight answer. well i have a 2001 dodge dakota 4x4 with the 3.9l v6 i was driving it a while ago and it over heated. found out it was leaking coolant. well i fixed that and changed the oil to make sure no coolant got in to the oil, well no coolant was in the oil. well after i fixed the radiator and changed the oil i started it up and it started just fine so i took it out for a spin, after 15 minuits of driving the truck it started making this ticking sound, so i took it back to my house pinpointed where the sound it coming from and it coming from the head. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?? i need help please!!

 

i forgot to say that it will start just fine and drive just as good as ever only for about 15 minuits then the ticking/clicking sound starts but only when you push on the gas.
