Default Looking for opinion on exhaust

I am looking into adding a K&N Air Charger along with a new exhaust to my 03 Neon SXT SOHC 5spd. I am debating b/n the Borla Dual tip CATBACK (Product ID 14862) or the Thermal Research Dual Tip (single side) (Product ID B505-C502).

I would like the opinion of my fellow Dodge users on which one would be better worth my hard earned money and would also NOT give me the "Ricey" sound.

Please advise,

Greatly Appreciated!

Jeff

PS If anyone has any sound clips of either, that would be great as well.

My personal opinion is, go with the OE R/T ehaust, it doesn't sound ricey, and it don't look like crap.

Personally, I loved the sound of the Mopar Performance exhaust on both my '99 Neon R/T and on my '04 SRT-4.

Thanks to both of you for your opinion. I thought about putting the Mopar Performance Exhaust on was wasn't sure I was going to gain much in the Horsepower, just in the look (which isn't a bad thing).

I will keep these opinions in the back of my mind when it comes time to purchase,

Thanks once again to both of you (and anyone else that wants to give their 2 cents.

Try the Flowmaster HushpowerII, it's perfect for the sport compact - I put one on my kids Neon and it sounds deep and loud - Check it out!

The stainless is nice when polished and add the polished tip, plus they are made in the US!

I ended up getting the Borla CATBACK and ran into some issues with them denying the fact that the SXT does NOT have the same outside pipe diameter as the standard and SE so after two months of messing around with Borla directly, I just took it into my own hands and got the job done.

I am very pleased with the sound it produces and love the look.

Thanks again!

Borla is the one that makes the cat-back exhaust for Mopar Performance for the SRT-4, so they may be the one that makes all the other Mopar Performance exhausts for the newer Neon's.
