I just ordered a new hi flow cat back for my Stratus SE. I was wondering if I should just go with a muffler or a tip. I want something deep sounding, not incredibly loud & annoying.

years ago i had a big block 500 ci, stage 3 heads dual quads, 3000 stall converter, in a 1963 300J.. 4200 lbs 14.50s in the 1/4 mile i took it to a shop this dude realy knew what he was doing.
he said to do the pipes in 2 1/2 inch, but at the very end the last 2 to 3 inchs make it 20% to 30% smaller. this will make it quite without restriction.
