Default cold air intake

Need some opinions on an intake. I have an 02 1500 with the 5.9 Should i get the volant or the k&n intake for this truck? pros and cons for both. also superchips programmer or hypertech looking for horsepower and torque. already have 3" magnaflow exhaust.

thanks,

gixxer

I used to be a fan of K&N until they screwed me recently. Currently I have a AFE Magnum Force intake on my Dakota. I like it better than I did the K&N. Mounts more secure and frees up more space.

I would also like to know which to get, the Hypertech or Superchips for the 5.9l.

I think that the Volant looks pretty cool, and comes in that protective box.

I have the 02 w/5.9 also and it's hard to find the companies that make the CAI for our trucks. I just installed a FRAM BOOST system but had to modify it to make it fit.

And I would suggest the Superchips over the hypetech.
