Summit Racing Brand
Does anyone have any feedback on Summit Racing? I'd like to know how their own brand of parts compares to name brand lines, i.e. Flowmaster, Gibson, etc. I am looking to upgrade my exhaust, either the full system starting from the catalytic converter, or just the muffler.
If you've used Summit's parts before, let me know.....either good or bad.

Okay, well these two responses have pretty much made up my mind to go with a name brand....probably Flowmaster. Now the only question is: just a muffler, or a cat-back system. I'm going for a good, solid rumble. So, can I get away with just a Series 40 Flowmaster muffler, or should I invest in the complete Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back Exhaust System?

They are probably like most where their own brand is actually a contract with a major brand repackaged with their own name on it, like the Mopar Performance cat-back exhaust for the SRT-4 is made by Borla. Most larger companies like Summit, Jegs, Meijers, Krogers, etc. have their own name brands, but they are simply big name brands repackaged with the stores name on it instead of their own.
