WHICH INTAKE? GOING TO BUY TODAY AFE K&N OR AEM? HELP!
I saw a post where the AEM Cold Air Intake was priced at $229.00, but then the store raised the price to $290 or so. I called them today and asked about this, the salesman said he would still sell the AEM kit, part # 21-8203DP for $229.+$9.95 S&H. He also said I could get the K&N Cold Air Intake for $235.90 to my door? The AFE for $259 to my door. I want to buy one within the day so it will ship out today. Which one should I go with? Please what should I do. I like the AEM, but most dyno’s I have read show the K&N is best for performance. Also, over time how does the AEM polished tube look? Does it rust, will it get dull and scratched easily? Which one would you buy and why? Any help please!
Looks like you want to spend 200$ but if you dont check out ebay on some cold air intakes, does the same thing just not the name your going to buy.. just another thing to check out is all....
I ended up getting the polished AEM intake from RPMOULET for 239 to my door. I really like the intake has a good sound, not loud at idle or cruising speeds, but at WOT you know it is on there. I went with it for looks only, I dont believe there is actually a MAJOR difference in performance between the two CAI kits.

MOPAR2YA,
Let me clear up my statement for MOPAR2YA, since he obviously didnt like my purchasing technique. First off, why even make a post or comment on the topic, when you had nothing of importance to say? Secondly, it is someone like you that really pisse* me off. Lastly, I bought the AEM rather than the K&N because of the look!!!!!!! The deciding factor between the K&N and AEM came down to looks, I like the polished tube! I didnt just see an AEM and say dam, that looks good, I am going to buy it.

basically you found 2 intakes that were well rated, the K&N and the AEM, and then chose based on which looked better, correct? Not like you ran out and bought the weapon R dragon intake that looks exceptionally cool, but doesn't come close to a K&N or an AEM. Is my assessment correct, or did you just not see the Weapon R
