Default Turndown for Electronic Cutout??? WHERE?

I jus purchaed a DMH electronic cutout. I have seen many pictures of cutouts with a short turndown on them. Does anyone know where I can buy one? Some of them look "homemade". But if anyone can make one, or knows where they can be purchased that would be great. It is a 3" cutout. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'd check my local muffler shop, not one of the national chains, though. The ones around here can pretty much make anything you can dream up.....

Thanks for the reply.

I just think the turndown is a good idea. It might help with drone and cab noise, as well as protection to the butterfly area.

As for my local shop making one, they said they could make one and weld it onto the cutout. I think that might create warranty issues, and if you have to access the butterfly at some point, that would cause restrictions there also. I would like something that looks decent too. There are however some good ones on DMH and QTP's websites in the picture area. Someone out there has made some nice looking turndowns for their cutouts.

I found this turndown, it is a 3"x3 bolt pattern. It should work for the 3" cutout, but I am not sure.

http://store.summitracing.com/defau...t=egnsearch.asp For some reason this link isnt taking you directly to the turndown. It is the 2nd one on the list, part # BIG-10411FLT

I would like to know if it would work, what does everyone think?

I know that the angle the y pipe is inserted would determine the lenght of the turndown. You wouldnt want it to low, but you could easily trim the turndown to make it shorter. I have a regular height 4x4 so height isnt an issue with my truck, but as for your lowered trucks, length might be an issue.
