Ok, I have a 2006 3.7L v6 Ram 1500. I need exhaust that will give me better gas mileage.I keep searching online but never find exhaust that is "compatible" with the v6. Any suggestions?

 

I am in the same boat.

I have a 2002 Dakota Quad Cab V6 3.9L. I am interested in putting exhaust on my truck. From what I have read on the board I am thinking a flowmaster 40 series with a one in one out and then have it split to have to exhaust pipes out the back.

I want it to be deeper sounding then now and have some more get up and go.

 

yeah, i read that too. i read mine somewhere in the third gen ram section. i am thinking of the 40 but i dont know if that would be "allowed" on a v6. because i've been looking this stuff up for months now and haven't found anything yet for a 3.7L.

 

I'm putting a Delta Flow 50 on mine tomorrow, single in/dual out, and dumping it in front of the axle. I just hope it sounds as good on mine as it sounds on the Ram 3.7 I heard.

 

how does it sound? break it in yet?

This is dumped at the axle and it's recorded with a cheap microphone, but you can get a good idea of the sound.
