Default disarm SKIS??

Hi there,
I really hope someone can help! I have a Laredo 2005 and all of a sudden the car didn't start anymore. The (original) key is the problem. Since I bought a used car I only got one key with it. Big Problem: I exported the car to St Lucia (Caribbean) and there's no dealer who can program a new key (and the car). I tried to get information (a key) from the dealer I bought the car from in Miami, but without success. They don't (want) to ship to the Caribbean! So I was wondering if there's any possibility to "just" switch off the SKIS so I can use any key to start the car. I know it's risky since a securtiy feature will be gone but since 1 week I'm trying to get a key now and my hope is gone! I'd really appreciate any help or ideas! Thank you very much!

I don't believe there is a way to simply disable SKIS. The PCM must recieve communication from the SKIM within about 2 seconds of engine start, or else it kills the engine.
The only thing I can think of is start talking to people on the phone... you didn't make this stupid system, you shouldn't have to suffer because of it.

contact UPS. have them set up a will call package to the dealer. (you pay shipping). all they have to do is drop a new key into the box, tape it up and UPS will return the package to you.

Even if you find someone to send you a key, you are still going to have to find someone to program the new key to work. You might be able to reprogram the old key. You are also going to have to get your 4 digitsecurity pin number to program it. There is no way to turn it off, no way to "trick" it, no way to use any other key....
