Default unlimited tire size ?

My wife has a 2006 unlimited and she wants me to put a two inch body and four inch susp lift. santawas nice to her this year and gothere a lift. i have been told alot of different thing about a two inch body lift. mainly that it is bad for the jeep and will make in crazy stiff. she wants 35s she was told that 35s will make sixth gear useless. is there any truth to any of this? thanks for your help.

I've not owned or lifted an unlimited, I've had 2, a CJ7 that I bought lifted and a '94 Wrangler that I did not lift. I've also had 4 Grand Cherokees. I do know one thing though, if you want to know ANYTHING about a Jeep product then the best place for answers is Jeeps Unlimited. Go there, register on the forum and find out all you need.

35's make the jeep useless period. My buddy has 35's on his JK and it has no power what so ever. He can barely break the tires loose in the dirt. If you go with 35's, be sure to regear it as well.
