Well I just learned of this place and purchased a Liberty CRD. This info is not time dependent...it still holds true. I guess you would rather have people get the wrong information?[

I have been to L.O.S.T. and it is Great!!! I was thinking Jetta, but they have transmission and dual mas flywheel trouble. The Jeep has a more truck-like transmission and I do not read about the major problems associated with the Jetta's. In fact, I am going to get a CRD when the 95 Ram gives it up.
Oil changes. If you run any synthetic, you change it once a year. Who pays someone else to change their own oil anyway?
Timing belts are supposed to be changed on all vehicles at 100k. I have the OEM and have 192kon my gasser, but I guess I am just lucky. That diesel engine should go 500k.
