Smile Commander Model 7000+ Remote Starter

Hi everyone,

I'm CR Wms (short for Williams) I have two 2005 Dodge Magnums, an SE and an SXT. The SXT has the Commander Model 7000+ Remote Starter.

1. Within the last couple of months I can start the vehicle remotely, however, once in a while nothing happens. perhaps it is the battery in the remote. If so, can it be changed?

2. I can start the vehicle using the key, but when I do, after 10-12 seconds the engine cuts off. So I have to use the remote.

3. What do I have to do to be able to use JUST THE KEY TO START AND KEEP THE VEHICLE RUNNING ?

Welcome to DF

First I would have the WCM check for any stored codes and start from there. You could have a bad Wireless Control Module (WCM). Since you car is a CAN BUS circuit, you will need a scanner to read the Can Bus system.
