My jeep will start and run. U can accelerate but when u let up it dies. It's a new distributer

 

That isn't much information to help you with, here are some questions in no particular order: How does it run when it's idling? How easily does the engine accelerate standing still & under load (in gear)? When you let your foot off the accelerator, does the engine immediately stop, sputter, or what? Do you get any "pops" through the carb or backfiring? How easy is it to start? Any color or smell to the exhaust?
