2017 compass getting codes u0122 lost communication with aabs module A, u1110 lost vehicle speed message & u1120 lost wheel distance message. Dashboard looks like a Christmas tree, and no speedometer. Scan tool says unable to communicate with abs controller, checked fuses, slaved in abs control module, no help, verified power and ground at abs module, verified can c to tipm & pcm all good, only thing I did notice was 120ohms between the 2 can wires with the pcm hooked up, with pcm unhooked pcm everything is fine, is this normal or is there a problem with the pcm? I tried another set of can wires 0 ohms between the 2. Any ideas?

120 ohms is not normal for a high speed CAN. There are (2) 120 ohm terminating resistors wired in parallel to provide voltage stability on the network - it should be reading 60 ohms.

Reading 120 indicates one of them is no longer connected to the network.

I’m not certain if one of the resistors is located in the ABS module, but if so, it’s likely due for replacement.

 

Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure about the resistance part, I did have the abs module disconnected when I did the test, but the problem is fixed, it turned out to be a open in one of the two power wires
