Default V10 Cherokee

Was there a "TSi" version or something available a few years back that offered a V10 on the Cherokee limited???

Back in the mid 1990's there was a TSI version of the first generation Grand Cherokee. It used the tried and true 360 Magnum V8.

Back when Chrysler Corporation bought the Jeep and Eagle brands from American Motors Corporation (AMC) in 1987. Chrysler wanted to keep those two brands together! If you can remember in the late 80's and early 90's it was your Jeep/Eagle dealers!

One of the trim packages that debuted in 1997 on the Grand Cherokee was the TSi model. TSi was also a model trim package on some Eagle brand cars, like the Talon and Vision! But on the Jeep Grand Cherokee the TSi models featured: 4.0L I-6 engine, 16-inch alloy wheels, 225/70R16 tires, leather seating and a premium stereo.

The Grand Cherokee did feature a 5.9L Limited model for the 1998 model year!

So I hope this helps!

I know a little about jeeps. The TSi was a 97 only model and it had the 5.2 V8, or the 4.0 I6

Thats correct, a V10 was never offered and the 360 was only available in '98 on the 5.9 limiteds. Those are sweet though, and have a ton of performance potential.
