hi, I'm new to the site. I noticed there's a forum for Durangos which is great. but there's no forum for Shadows. why is that?? I'm 3rd owner of a 92 Shadow ES with the 3.0 V6/5 spd M/T. it has 250,000 miles on the original motor. the ironic thing about me being 3rd owner is that the last name has been the same since it was new. my brother bought it new in 92 and then sold it to our father in Feb of this year. then I bought it when our father bought a newer vehicle.
so, how about adding a Shadow forum here?? I'm wondering if anyone else has 1 and has the same issue I have. when the outside temp gets warm, it seems to vaporlock the injectors due to their location under the intake. I've heard about someone who had another vehicle with the same problem running a cool air duct to the injectors to keep them cool & stop them from vaporlocking. any thoughts/ideas??
