Default drivetrain questions

I own a '94 sundance with a 2.5 and 5 speed tranny, I've noticed that when launching the right tire will spin for a brief moment and then the left tire will start to spin too. does this mean my car has a limited slip differential? I believe that one ofthe previous owners did some kind of work to the clutch/differential, the clutch is extremely stiff and takes quite a bit of effort to press down. Also when I got the car all the plastic in the driver's side wheel well was missing. I was wondering if it ispossible a previous owner put in a heavy duty clutch/LSD?

I doubt it since the cheapest one out there around 300 and it won't last long. The very good one for these cars around a 1000. The reason one will spin on the passenger side there no wieght over there but once it gets heated from spinning it grabs then other one looses traction.

really? I think the clutch has been upgraded at least because it has 140,000+ miles on the odometer and the clutch is still really solid and stiff.

The clucth doesn't anything to do with diff. Not saying it doesn't have a good clucth. LSD would cause both to spin or both not to at the same time.

I know at first I asked if you thought it would be possible if someone put a heavy duty clutch in it also. and yes both wheels spin at the same time...
I check everyday just to be safe.
