I just bought a shadow from my work. Im a tech at a Toyota Dealership. I bought the thing for $300 bucks cause i know all the sales me well, lol. The car needs a water pump and valve cover gaskets and a axle seal. but what else should i look for.... what else should i do. I'm trying to keep costs low cause its just a daily. It has 124k.....

I'm guessing you got the 3.0 V6 since you said valve covers. I would replace the timing belt to while your in there if your doing a water pump. As for the valve covers change the pcv valve first as it mostly likely clog and causeing your oil leak if it doesn't stop then do the gaskets.

 

i ment valve cover. lol. I got the lil 2.2l. but im just looking to get great MPG. I bought a timing belt and a bunch of other things im gonna do tomorrow. thanks for the help.
